In addition to my academic leadership experiences I have enjoyed over three decades of production challenges in a wide variety of the Creative Industries; I have directed award winning short animated films, was the sole developer of the original South Park CG animation technique, built and supervised an "Imagineering" department for Douglas Trumbull, fed Boba Fett to the Sarlac and flew the Millennium Falcon for George Lucas.
As a member of the Producers Guild of America and Visual Effects Society, an ACM SIGGRAPH Pioneer and ACM Distinguished Speaker I enjoy a worldwide collection of great clients and friends.
Come visit me in NYC at SVA where I am the Chair of the MFA Computer Arts department ... I love live music and good food!
